2023 Resident Rates

Additional information:

• Rates are for Half Board Meal Plan
• Full board supplement KES 4,500 per adult per night; 50% for children between 6-12 years.
• Rates are strictly for nationals and permanent residents of Kenya and the East Africa Community. Proof of residency is required at check-in

EASTER AND FESTIVE SEASON:

• Rates are on a full-board basis (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and they include:
• Easter brunch on Sunday 9th April 2023
• Christmas Eve dinner on 24th December 2023
• Christmas brunch on 25th December 2023
• New year eves dinner on 31st December 2023
• New Years brunch on 1st January 2024

Child Policy:

• Child (0-5) sharing a room with parents at no charge.
• Extra child (6-12) sharing room with parents at KES 6,000.
• Children in their own room are charged 50% of the adult double room rate.

Conservancy fee: 

• KES 2,000 per adult
• KES 1,000 per child up to 12 years per stay
• You get unlimited access to the animal orphanage and a selection of activities within Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club and Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy.

For those who wish to spend time relaxing at the Mount Kenya resort hotel, there are many Nanyuki recreational activities available: horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, an animal orphanage, and much more. The Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club offers luxury accommodation in Nanyuki, Kenya. A magnificent view to behold, the prestigious main structure reflects the 1950s historical architectural design with a luxury country club feel, complemented by independent quaint cottages, including William Holden’s original cottage.

Nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Kenya, Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club is strategically located on the Equator. The rooms, suites, and cottages reflect the original charm of the residence complete with modern-day amenities. An array of exciting outdoor activities include golfing on the Equator, horse riding in the forest, animal orphanage visits, an amazing slopes breakfast, and bush dining.

Golfing by the Equator

The resort has a scenic 9-hole manicured golf course. It is interspersed with ponds, and sandbanks and is the only course bisected by the Equator in Africa– allowing one to leisurely cross from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere.

The course has been redesigned to mirror international golfing standards and has seen a new interest in corporate firms making their way here for a round of golf.

The property’s picturesque landscape lends a serene atmosphere and ideal backdrop for teeing off, whilst the weather is perfect, never too hot or cold to putt a golf ball.

For corporate guests, the Club offers an additional ‘fun’ night golf option on hole #1 for events at the golf clubhouse.
